Canada produces the best engineering and technology graduates in the world according to a new report that ranks 82 best universities in the world, The annual ranking by Bloomberg Businessweek has Canada ranked as the top country overall for engineering and technology, beating the US into second place and the UK into third. Canada’s top university is the University of Waterloo, which produced 89 graduates, or 15% of the world’s engineering graduates.

Seven of the world’s top 10 universities are in the UK, with Oxford ranked top overall. Although Canadian graduates do perform better in some subjects, such as astronomy and astrophysics, global rankings.
